Family Restoration Christian Church was established when God spoke to Pastor Fred and Rhonda Harris to pioneer a ministry. They stepped out on faith as God instructed them to and started a team ministry. God instructed them to name their ministry Family Restoration Christian Center because he had called them to restore families and marriages. They began their ministry in Camden, SC. The first service was held at Camden High School on July 24, 2004. In July of 2005, God spoke to Pastor Fred to move the ministry to Sumter, SC. On September 6, 2005, Family Restoration Christian Center relocated to 1744 Peach Orchard Road. They held their first service New Year's Eve. We remained there until June of 2007 when we were offered a building from another ministry. This was a prayer answered. We were believing God for more space and supplies. In 2013, Family Restoration Christian Center underwent a change. We soon became Family Restoration Church and relocated once again to 1744 Peach Orchard Road. This was a God spoken decision. On October 2015, Family Restoration Church purchased their first building at 2362 Peach Orchard Rd, Sumter, SC 29154.We currently reside there now. Over the past years, we have seen lives changed, families and marriages restored. We are believing God for many people to be born again, for many marriages to be restored through our ministry. Our lives are dedicated and consecrated to the call of God to restore families and marriages and we won't stop until this is accomplished. We are striving to bring the vision to pass everyday. We realize without the help of the members this wouldn't be possible. The Bible says, "When every member does his part and his share it causes growth to the body." (Eph. 4:16) This ministry is here for a purpose, it's all about Restoration! |
